(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) collision at a Dalton Road, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, August 23, 2015 at approximately 5:20 p.m., Police and Norfolk County Paramedics responded to a single ATV collision involving a 13 year old male.
Investigation has determined that the rider was operating the ATV in a water filled creek bed and travelled west bound up a steep creek embankment when he lost control.
As a result, the ATV rolled on top of the operator causing serious non-life threatening injuries.
The 13-year-old male of Norfolk County, Ontario was transported to a local area hospital for treatment where he was then air lifted and taken to a London area hospital for further assessment.
