Stormont Dundas Press Releases

IMPAIRED DRIVER

(North Dundas) – On August 31, 2015 at approximately 6:32pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on County Road 32, North Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol. No injuries occurred as a result of the collision.

Jacqueline LABONTE (47) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on September 17, 2015.

THEFTS

(North Stormont) – On August 31, 2015 at approximately 7:37am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of a Boat from a property on Concession Road 21, North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (August 28-31, 2015) a 20 foot “Remoced” Boat and trailer were removed from the property.

An Investigation continues.

(South Glengarry) – On August 31, 2015 at approximately 9:27am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of a Boat from a property on Boundary Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime Overnight (August 31, 2015) a 15.5 foot “ Cadorette” Power Boat was removed from the property.

An Investigation continues.

(South Glengarry) – On August 31, 2015 at approximately 8:12pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of an ATV from a property on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime Overnight (August 30, 2015) a 1996 Yamaha ATV was taken.

An Investigation continues.
