(HURON EAST, ON) – A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was stolen overnight from a Seaforth residence on September 3, 2015 has since been recovered by Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers. Just after 6:00 a.m. Perth OPP officers arrived at an address located on Perth Road 145 between Sebringville and Fullarton to find West Perth Fire Department officers putting out the pickup truck fire. The vehicle had been abandoned on the property and was set ablaze by the culprits. The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire.
Further investigation revealed the burgundy box topper had been removed from the pickup prior to the fire. This incident remains under investigation.
