(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an 18 year old Aylmer, ON. man with stunt driving after police stopped the vehicle he was operating for traveling over double the posted speed limit on September 12th, 2015.
The incident occurred around 2:46 p.m. when police were patrolling the area of Calton Line and Hacienda Rd. and observed a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta traveling westbound on Calton Line in excess of 120 km/hr in a posted 50km/hr zone.
As a result police have charged Isaac REIMER, age 18 of Aylmer, ON with;
Race a Motor Vehicle under section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
REIMER’S drivers licence has been suspended and vehicle has been seized for 7 days. He is scheduled to appear in St. Thomas Provincial Offences Court on October 8th, 2015 to answer to the charge.
