Jonathan Miller-Williams – Care And Control Over 80

(RED LAKE, ON) – In the early morning hours of September 14, 2015, officers from the Red Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) check on Highway 105 in the Municipality of Red Lake. At that time, officers observed a vehicle turn into a local business, avoiding the RIDE check. Further investigation led officers to speak with a male driver who had been drinking. A roadside test was performed on the male subject, and a fail was registered. The male was returned to the detachment for further tests.

Jonathan Miller-Williams, age 48, of Anmore, B.C., has been charged with Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood and Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle while ability Impaired contrary to Section 253(1)(a) and (b) of the Criminal Code. He was released by way of a Promise to Appear in Red Lake court on October 29, 2015 to answer to the charges.
