(TECUMSEH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh stopped a vehicle on September 15, 2015 at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Manning Road, just north of Tecumseh Road.
A strong odour of marihuana could be detected coming from inside the vehicle and several marihuana roaches were observed in the centre console of the vehicle.
The OPP K-9 unit was called in to search the vehicle for any further drugs. Officers located a number of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) capsules hidden within the vehicle, a small amount of dried marihuana, drug paraphernalia, Canadian currency and an expandable baton. The total value of the drugs was approximately $150.00.
Adam MOROZ, age 20 of Lakeshore was charged with the following offences:
Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking under 3 kilograms
Possession of a Schedule II Substance—Cannabis Marihuana – Under 30 grams
Fail to Comply with Undertaking
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He will appear in a Windsor court on November 2, 2015 to answer to the charges.
