DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Stormont) – On September 25, 2015 at approximately 3:21pm, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Dixon Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an adult female had assaulted her ex-spouse. Further information also revealed that the male had threatened the female.
An adult female (43) from South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 27, 2015.
An adult male (45) from Ottawa, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Uttering Threats
The Male was held in custody (Bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
(South Glengarry) – On September 27, 2015 at approximately 7:30pm, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a female and her ex-boyfriend resulted in both parties assaulting one another. Further information revealed that the female threatened the male. Investigation also revealed that the adult male and female were in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
A 47-year-old female from South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault with a weapon (2 counts)
– Uttering Threats
– Fail To Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order (2 counts)
The Female was held in custody (Bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
A 51-year-old male from Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
-Fail To Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order
The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 27, 2015. The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.
THEFT
(South Glengarry) – On September 25, 2015 at approximately 2:44pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of Chips from a Business ( Hostess Frito Lay) on Tyotown Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime Overnight (September 24-25, 2015) a quantity of Chips were removed from vehicles.
An Investigation continues.
THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE
(South Stormont) – On September 26, 2015 at approximately 11:16pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a motorcycle from a residence on Myers Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (September 24-26, 2015) a 1998 Brown 1500 Suzuki Intruder Motorcycle was removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
