(ORILLIA, ON.) – Over the past weekend, the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 144 calls for service. Police responded to calls received from Severn Township, Ramara Township, and the City of Orillia. The time frame is from Friday night at 6:00 p.m. until Monday morning at 6:00 a.m.
There were various calls for service consisting of noise complaints, alarms, 911 hang-ups, motor vehicle collisions, domestic/family disputes, Liquor Licence Act complaints, mischief complaints, Drug Possession and Impaired drivers.
On September 26, 2015 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Orillia OPP officers stopped a vehicle at Cooper Falls Road and Severn Pines Drive in Severn Township, when the vehicle was observed speeding. The male driver was arrested at the scene.
Stuart HILL, 31 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Over 80 Milligrams Blood/Alcohol. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia court on October 13, 2015.
