On the 5th of October 2015 police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Boundary St. in the Town of Prescott. A white Pontiac Grand Am was struck while parked on the road in front of a residence at this location. The suspect vehicle left the scene of the accident. Police collected a side view mirror and a front passenger wheel well fender flare molding being metallic beige in colour from the collision. It is believed the suspect vehicle is a Ford 150 ranging in years 2004-2008.

Drug Offences

Time – 3:35 pm
Location – Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township
On October 4, 2015 at approximately 3:35 pm members of the Grenville County OPP were conducting a RIDE program at the intersection of County Rd. 44 and Crowder Rd. in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township. While speaking with a driver stopped at the RIDE program, police observed commonly used drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Following a short investigation police seized cocaine, marihuana along with other drug paraphernalia. The driver a 23 year old male from Augusta Township has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and is to appear in Brockville Courtat a later date.
Impaired Driving

Location – Town of Prescott
On October 1, 2015 while on routine patrol officers observed a red motor vehicle being operated on Water St. in the Town of Prescott. The vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Water St. and Centre St. Officers followed this vehicle as the driver attempted to park the vehicle on Water St. Police approached the driver and noted a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and other signs of impairment. He was read the roadside demand which he failed and was subsequently arrest for driving over 80 milligrams. He was transported to the Prescott Detachment where two breath tests were completed. The driver a 64 year old male from Prescott was charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood and is to appear in Brockville Court at a later date.

(Prescott, ON.) – The Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a robbery that took place at Mr. Gas on King St. in the Town of Prescott.
Shortly after 8:15 a.m. on October 3, 2015 members of the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to the robbery at this location. It was reported that a lone male entered the gas bar and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk before fleeing from the store. No weapons were observed during the robbery and no one was injured. A small amount of cash and cigarettes were taken.
The suspect is described as male, 5”6” – 5”7”, in his 20’s -30’s, scruffy facial hair, pale, sick looking wearing a grey sweater/jacket. Last seen on foot traveling west on King St.
The Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police, the Grenville County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m. on October 3, 2015 members of the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to the robbery at this location. It was reported that a lone male entered the store and demanded all the money from the till. He then fled from the store. No weapons were observed during the robbery and no one was injured. A small amount of cash, cigarettes and food were taken.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5”5”, approx. 25 years of age, clean shaven. Last seen on foot traveling east on Park St.
The Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police, the Grenville County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
