Aghiles HOUARI – Theft Of Gas

(MATTAWA, ON) – On October 3, 2015, at approximately 7:20 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified of the theft of gas from a service station in Mattawa.

A description and direction of the vehicle and occupants was given to police. A short time later, the vehicle was located going westbound on Highway 17, in the city of North Bay.

After further investigation, two males from Saint Laurent, Quebec, were charged.

The driver, Aghiles HOUARI, age 25, was arrested and charged with:

Theft under $5000, section 334(b) of the Criminal Code (CC);

Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana-under 30 grams, section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

The passenger, Arezki HOUARI , age 29, was arrested and charged with:

· Possession of a Schedule II- Cannabis Marihuana- under 30 grams, section 4(1) of the CDSA.

Both accused were released from custody and are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa on November 4, 2015.
