(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a break-in at a seasonal residence on North Shore Drive West yesterday just before 12:30pm.
Thieves forcibly entered the boathouse and stole the following items:
· Air compressor
· Stihl chainsaw
· 2001 Mercury 9.9Hp outboard motor
· Hip waders
· Hummingbird fish finder
· Shimano rod and reel
Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to a suspect or suspect(s) in this case. Police urge the public to call in tips on this case, or others, to the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to crime stoppers.
