David STEWART – Drunk Driving

(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On Sunday October 10, 2015 at 4:38 pm West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a traffic complaint at the Hunter Drive exit of the 400 highway overpass. A Honda Civic was reported being parked in the middle of the intersection.

The officers patrolled the area with negative results – but with the help of North Bay Communications Center (PCC), the motor vehicle was located on Lorimer Lake Road in McDougall Township. The motor vehicle matched the description of the vehicle parked in the intersection.

As a result of the investigation and observations by OPP resulted in the arrest of the driver for impaired driving. Intoxilyzer tests were conducted at the West Parry Sound Detachment by Police, and David STEWART (27) of Niagara Falls Ontario was subsequently charged with driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

STEWART will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday October 29, 2015 in Parry Sound, ON to answer to the charges.
