(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On October 20, 2015 at approximately 4:24 p.m., an officer with the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) was patrolling Dundas St East Street in the Town of Erin and stopped a 2003 GMC for a traffic offence. The male driver was spoken with and suspected marihuana was located in the vehicle. He was arrested and released at the scene with a court date.
30-year-old Robert LANE of Vaughan has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear Guelph Criminal Court on December 1, 2015.
