(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle with an expired validation permit on Highway 115 near Tapley Quarter Line yesterday just after 2:00pm.
During the traffic stop the officer determined that the driver had falsely identified herself as the passenger. Shannon DOW (age 38) of Peterborough, ON was arrested and charged with:
Obstruct a peace officer
Drive with no licence
Drive with no currently validated permit
The accused is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on December 10, 2015
