(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Friday, November 6, 2015 at approximately 10:14 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 589 in Gorham Township.
Upon officers arrival they observed a Honda Accord in the north bound ditch.
Upon speaking with the driver, the officer detected an odour of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath and the driver exhibited obvious signs of impairment.
Andree MUELLER, (female) 35 years of age, from Shuniah was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail or Refuse to Provide a Breath Sample contrary to the Criminal Code.
She is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on January 9, 2016 to answer to the charges.
On Sunday, November 8 at 10:10 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 102. Upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the officer detected an odour of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath and the driver exhibited obvious signs of impairment.
Guy ARCOUET, 38 years of age, from Dawson Road Lots Township was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle and and Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code.
He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 12, 2016 to answer to the charges.
