Man Arrested from CKPS Wanted List CK15033913
On December 28, 2014, the man entered police headquarters in an agitated state. While speaking to the officer at the front desk he dumped his coffee splashing her with the hot liquid. The man yelled obscenities and fled the area. The next day, officers located the man walking in Chatham. As the man was placed under arrest for assault police he pulled away and struggled with the officer. The man was taken into custody and additionally charged with resisting arrest. The man was held pending a bail hearing however was eventually released with conditions.
On September 29, 2015, the man’s surety revoked from their duties and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday, the 57-year-old man was arrested in Belleville. He was transported back to the Chatham-Kent court house pending a bail hearing.
Man Turns Himself in on Outstanding Warrant CK15033919
In October 2015, a woman reported to police that she had been the victim of domestic abuse. Through investigation, a warrant was issued for her ex-boyfriend.
Yesterday morning, the 26-year-old Chatham man turned himself in to police. He has been charged with two counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats, assault with a weapon, unlawfully in a dwelling house and mischief under $5000. He was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK15033943
On September 11, 2015 the man was released from custody with conditions. Two of those conditions stated that he was to reside at a specific address in Tilbury and to notify police within 24 hours of any change in address.
On September 30, 2015, an officer attended the man’s address and learned that he had moved without notifying police. A warrant for the man’s arrest was issued for two counts of failing to comply.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the man in Chatham and he was arrested. The 28-year-old man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Threats CK15033955
Yesterday afternoon, the man texted his friend in Dover Township and uttered numerous threats regarding a previous argument. Officers located the man and he was arrested.
The 32-year-old Chatham man has been charged with uttering threats. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Motor Vehicle Collision CK15033952
Around 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Park Avenue East near Park Street in Chatham.
A 57-year-old Thamesville woman sustained minor injuries. Total damage was estimated at $30,000.
A 78-year-old man was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
