(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received calls from concerned citizens in Bobcaygeon yesterday afternoon. Callers reported a male person that seemed intoxicated near a roadway. They were concerned for his safety.
Police located the person in a King Street, Bobcaygeon business. Arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and charged with the following additional offences is William DOHANEY, 50 years of age of Waterloo:
Fail to Comply with Recognizance Contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
Breach of Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CCC
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
