Intoxicated Male Arrested

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at approximately 7:23 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Sproule Street in the Municipality of Grey Highlands in response to an assault that had taken place. The suspect, who was known to the victim, left the scene prior to police arrival. While enroute, police received a second call from a resident on Edith Avenue, reporting that the suspect had caused damage to a porch railing and was banging on the front door.

Police located the suspect who was arrested for being intoxicated in public and held him in custody until he was sober to be released.

The victims did not wish to pursue criminal charges against the male, who was known to them.

21-year old Terrence SEMPLE of Kasabonika Lake First Nation, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice under the Liquor Licence Act.
