(South Dundas) – On December 7, 2015 at approximately 8:39pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male in need of assistance at a property on First Street, South Dundas Township. Investigation revealed the information to be false. Further information indicated that the accused had uttered threats towards other individuals.
Michael LYON (35) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Public Mischief
– Utter Threats (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
(South Glengarry) – On December 8, 2015 at approximately 7:18am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a noise complaint at a residence on Beaupre Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male at the home was playing loud music.
John PALIK (50) of South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief – Interfere with any Person in the Lawful Use, Enjoyment or Operation of Property
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(South Glengarry) – On December 7, 2015 – SD&G OPP began an investigation into a report of a male in breach of conditions imposed from a previous incident. Investigation indicated that the accused male had repeatedly communicated over the past months with an individual at a residence on County Road 25, South Glengarry Township.
The 77-year-old male from South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking (3 counts)
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
