(SUDBURY, ON)- On December 8, 2015, members of the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a theft occurrence at a business situated at Highway 144 in Cartier Township.
Investigation revealed that a tandem axle fuel trailer containing fuel and assorted tools was stolen from the parking lot.
As a result of the investigation, police were able to recover the stolen trailer with its contents and identify the individual responsible for the theft, which was valued at approximately $13,000.
Allan Gregory LEGROS, 44 years of age, from Temiskaming Shores, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
Adult – Theft over $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code
Adult – Theft under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code
Adult – Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code
Adult – Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on January 20, 2016, to answer to his charges.
