(ESSA TOWNSHIP) – At approximately 7:25 a.m., on December 10, 2015, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), received information of a serious two vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of the 8th Line at the 25th Side Road of Essa Township.
A vehicle travelling southbound on the 8th Line approached the intersection at the 25th Side Road and struck a vehicle that was travelling eastbound through the intersection.
A 29 year old person was examined by ambulance at the scene and released, while a 14 year old person was transported to a local hospital, examined and released and a 17 year old person was transported to a Toronto area hospital by Ornge air ambulance, where they remain in serious condition.
Nottawasaga OPP and members of the Central Region Traffic Teams continue to investigate.
