(WOLFE ISLAND, ON) – On December 11, 2015 the Leeds County Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) launched an investigation into a serious sexual assault that occurred on Wolfe Island, Frontenac County, between Tuesday, December 8 and Friday, December 11, 2015.
The 34-year-old female victim was taken to hospital.
A Warrant in the First Instance was issued for Michael Ross BURNETT, 39 of no fixed address, on charges of Sexual Assault Cause Bodily Harm and Forcible Confinement. He was arrested today, Sunday, December 13, 2015 by Kingston Police. Thank you to everyone who assisted and provided information.
