On Friday the 11th day of December 2015 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Belleville Police Drug Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Quinte West OPP Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant at a residence on Dundas St. East Trenton, ON.
Shaquille MITCHELL, 20, of Toronto and 25 year old Amanda TAYLOR of Trenton are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device.
Further, Mitchell was charged with Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 Counts) and Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order.
Mitchell also arrested on outstanding arrest warrants from the Quinte West OPP and Durham Regional Police Service.
Police seized approximately $4000 worth of drugs, Canadian currency, and offence related property.
Mitchell was held in custody to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville, ON and Taylor was released from custody with a court date in January 2016.
The Investigation is continuing.
