(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while conducting RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) on 16 December 2015 on Paris Road in The County of Brant.
At approximately 12:45 a.m. police stopped a 2012 KIA as it entered the RIDE check.
Police determined through investigation that the driver had been drinking alcohol and the female driver was arrested.
OPP investigators have charged 25-year-old Kori CREIGHTON of The County of Brant with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charge. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
