(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On December 17th, 2015, at approximately 9:30pm an officer from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol when the officer observed a motor vehicle being driven in an erratic manner.
The officer stopped the motor vehicle on Loyalist Parkway in Quinte West. Following an investigation it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
James PARKER, 61, of Ameliasburgh has been charged with:
Care and Control While Impaired by Alcohol, Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Care and Control Over 80mgs, Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on the 7th of January 2015.
