Operator Charged With Impaired, Over 80 and Possession Of A Prohibited Knife

(ALVINSTON, ON) – On January 15, 2016 at approximately 4:30 p.m. a member of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had occasion to investigate a 31 year old male operating an A.T.V. on Lorne Street within the Town of Alvinston, Ontario.

Subsequent investigation revealed that the male was allegedly operating said motor vehicle while impaired and was in possession of a prohibited knife.

Norman JONES, 31 years-of-age of the Town of Alvinston, Ontario has been charged with allegedly committing the offences of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Over 80 mgs of Alcohol per 100 mls of Blood and Possession of a Prohibited Knife. He is to appear at the Sarnia Court on February 29, 2016 in order to answer to the allegations.
