During the week of the 11 January 2016, to the 17 January 2016, there were 78 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.
There were seventeen motor vehicle collisions, five were animal related.
There were three domestic dispute calls for service during the week of the 11 January 2016, to the 17 January 2016. There were no domestic related incidents involving criminal code charges.
Police Investigate Break and Enters
Between the 16 January and the 17 January 2016 Killaloe OPP investigated three separate incidents of residential Break and Enters on Opeongo Road, Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Twp. Police report a compressor, hand sander and a television were stolen. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Killaloe OPP or Crimestoppers. Police are continuing the investigation.
Breach of Probation Charge
On the 15 January 2016 at approximately 8:35 pm, while on patrol on Opeongo Line, Madawaska Valley Twp., OPP Constable Jason Golds observed a man who appeared intoxicated, stumbling, and struggling to walk. Upon investigation, Police determined the male was on probation conditions not to possess or consume alcohol. Charged with Breach of Probation is 35 yr. old Ronald STRINGER of Madawaska Valley Twp. The accused was held for a Bail Hearing.
Motor Vehicle Collison
On the 15 January 2015 at 9:34 pm, Constable Glenn Yaraskavitch investigated a motor vehicle collision on Round Lake Road, Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. Police report a single vehicle rollover into the ditch. The lone female driver was transported to Pembroke Regional Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle was towed. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
