Three Arrested For Break In

(KINGSVILLE, ON)— The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a break and enter in progress on January 22, 2016 at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Malo Street in Kingsville.

Officers responded and learned that the homeowner was in the residence sleeping when two males entered the residence and proceeded to steal a television and computer before the homeowner woke up and scared the suspects out of the home.

The homeowner observed the two males, along with another male waiting in a blue minivan, leave the driveway travelling eastbound.

While still investigating, officers in Leamington stopped a blue minivan containing three males matching the descriptors of the three involved in the break and enter in Kingsville.

The property from the residence in Kingsville was found inside the stopped minivan.

Two of the males were arrested at the scene, and another male fled on foot and was arrested a short distance later.

Cody CROWLEY, age 21 of Leamington was charged with Break and Enter Dwelling House, Commit an Indictable Offence and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. He will appear in a Windsor court on March 1, 2016.

John ROSS, age 32 of Leamington was charged with Break and Enter Dwelling House, Commit an Indictable Offence and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. He will appear in a Windsor court on March 1, 2016.

Thiago SOUSA, age 32 was held for a bail hearing. He was charged with Break and Enter Dwelling House, Commit an Indictable Offence, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, Obstruct Peace Officer, Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Mischief Under $5000.
