Charges Laid In Methamphetamine Bust

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with members of the Norfolk County detachment have charged a 44-year-old male, 49-year-old male and a 53-year-old male with drug and weapon offences after executing a search warrant at a Nelson Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Saturday, January 30, 2016 at approximately 8:20 a.m., police attended the Nelson Street address and executed a search warrant. As a result of the warrant, police arrested and charged a 44-year-old male and a 49-year-old male for drug and weapon related offences.

On Monday, February 1, 2016, police arrested and charged a 53-year-old male for drug and weapon related offences.

Charged with the following offences is 44-year-old Matthew Allan MCGEARY of St Michael, Barbados.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana

· Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

· Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Charged with the following offences is 49-year-old Wayne Roger CLARKE of St George, Barbados.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana

· Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

· Unauthorized possession of a weapon

Charged with the following offences is 53-year-old Harry Anthony MCGEARY of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana

· Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

· Unauthorized possession of a weapon

· Possession of counterfeit money

All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
