(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by the OPP Haldimand County detachment, and the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Bolton Tract Road, Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Friday January 29th, 2016 at approximately 11:02 pm Police attended the Bolton Tract Rd address and executed the search warrant on the residence which resulted in the two occupants being arrested.
During the search officers located and seized a quantity of Marihuana and Cannabis Resin. Also seized was a quantity of Canadian Currency and drug trafficking related paraphernalia.
As a result, 35 year old Lisa BECHTEL and 38 year old Ronald HANDSOR both of Haldimand County, ON have been charged with 1 count each of Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (Cannabis Resin), and 1 count each of Possession of a controlled substance (Cannabis Marihuana). Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
Additionally, as part of this investigation, 51 year old Terry HINES of Haldimand County, ON has been charged with 1 count of Possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine), and 1 count of Possession of a controlled substance (Cannabis Resin). He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
