(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle at 144km/h in the 80km/h zone on Highway 7 near Highway 28 just after midnight Saturday morning.
Yunxiang LU (age 24) of Ottawa, ON was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. His driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and his 2016 Hyundai rental car was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 11, 2016.
