(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On Saturday February 13, 2016 at 10:22 am an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police, City of Kawartha Lakes detachment, stopped a vehicle as a result of a civilian concern.
The vehicle was located on Highway 35 near Fenelon Falls. An investigation was commenced and the driver, 48 year old Grant WATSON of Uxbridge, was subsequently arrested and charged with the following offences:
Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available contrary to section 32(1) of the Liquor Licence Act
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 3, 2016.
