(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – While on general patrol on March 22, 2016 at approximately 2:15 p.m. an officer of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Ontario Avenue in Elliot Lake.
Through investigation the officer learned that the driver was suspended and was not insured.
Charged with the following is Lynne Rita Moise (44) of Elliot Lake.
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance as per sec. 2(1)(a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
Driving while under suspension as per sec. 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court May 18, 2016.
