(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Middleton North Walsingham Towline Road, North Walsingham, Norfolk County , Ontario address.
On Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at approximately 11:27 a.m., police received a call from a concerned bus driver reporting an incident.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 between 7:50 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., a school bus full of children was travelling on Middleton North Walsingham Townline Road when a gold coloured Jeep swerved into the opposite lane towards the school bus. The roads at the time were dry and clear and with no obstructions being located in the roadway.
Police received further information that this same vehicle has done this in the past on a few occasions. The Jeep was described to police as gold in colour and appears to have come westbound from the Highway 59 area and then possibly turns northbound onto Jackson Side Road.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the assistance of the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

This had the potential to have devastating effects especially, if a full school bus of children was struck head on by a driver that obviously has no regard for public safety.
