(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On April 9, 2016, at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a red Pontiac car stationary on Fossil Road, facing eastbound.
Police conducted a traffic stop, and determined the female driver had been drinking alcohol.
A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. The driver was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, 49-year-old Sherri PERRIAM, from Lambton Shores, Ontario, is charged with care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on May 18, 2016.
