Serious Motorcycle Collision On County Road 507

(Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews were dispatched to assist motorcyclist on Peterborough County Road 507 Saturday just after 12:00pm.

A group of riders were driving north on County Road 507 near Charlie Allen Road. The lead rider touched the soft shoulder, lost control and was thrown from his Victory motorcycle. Stanley PON (age 64) of Toronto, ON was transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to a Toronto area trauma centre with serious injuries.

Peterborough County Road 507 was closed for several hours while OPP members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene.
