On Wednesday March 25th, 2016 Owen Sound Police were advised of a paddle boat abandoned along the Sydenham River in the 200 block of 3 rd Avenue East.
While investigating the abandoned boat, the investigating officer was approached by a citizen advising that a paddle boat had been stolen overnight from their residence in the 200 block of 5 th Street East. The recovered boat was not the paddle boat being reported stolen.
The stolen paddle boat is described as a Commander 2×2, blue with a white coloured bottom and white removable seats.
Police are looking for the owner of the recovered paddle boat and to speak with anyone who may have information relating to the theft of the second paddle boat.
