(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a motor vehicle collision at a Concession 12, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, June 18, 2016 at approximately 4:59 p.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Investigation has determined that a motor vehicle was travelling eastbound on Concession 12 when the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a tree that was located at the end of the driveway. The vehicle was then observed leaving the area however officers located the vehicle parked in a driveway shortly thereafter.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 62-year-old Edward ROZICKI of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving; driving over the legal limit, fail to report accident, fail to remain and careless driving.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
