Lakeshore Collision Update – One Charged

(LAKESHORE, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has concluded an investigation involving a motor vehicle collision that occurred June 21, 2016 at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Essex County Road 22 and East Pike Creek Road in Lakeshore.

Contrary to the first release, the crash involved only two vehicles. One of the drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The other driver, Pierre DOZOIS, age 64 was charged with Red Light-Fail to Stop, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

THREE VEHICLE CRASH SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

(LAKESHORE, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Lakeshore Fire Department and Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a three vehicle collision just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Essex County Road 22 and East Pike Creek Road in Lakeshore.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Essex County Road 22 is encountering lane reductions until the debris and vehicles can be cleaned up from the roadway.

Charges are pending.
