(South Dundas) – On July 15, 2016 at approximately 12:05am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of single motor vehicle collision on County Road 18, South Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol. No injuries resulted.
Larissa SOMERVILLE (22) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol
– Driving with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on July 28, 2016.
(South Stormont) – On July 15, 2016 at approximately 3:42am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. Investigation revealed that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol. Minor injuries resulted.
Michelle FERGUSON (23) of South Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol
– Driving with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 2, 2016.
Officers also intercepted another motorist stopped at the scene rendering assistance (known to above accused) and determined he was also under the influence of alcohol.
Timothy FORTIN (29) of South Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 11, 2016.
DRUGS SEIZED
(South Stormont) – On July 16, 2016 at approximately 12:09pm, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Stormont Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of quantities of suspected marihuana and open liquor.
The driver, St-Clair FERGUSSON (42) of Ille-Perrot, Quebec and male passengers – Renson NERO (36) of North York, Ontario, Casimore SAMUEL (40) of Montreal, Quebec and Mark SPRING (24) of Lachine, Quebec were all arrested and each charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams
– Having Open Container of Liquor
All were released and scheduled to appear (drug charge) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on September 13, 2016.
(North Dundas) – On July 19, 2016 at approximately 6:51pm, SD&G OPP officers intercepted a vehicle on Caleb Street, North Dundas Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of quantities of suspected marihuana, oxycodone and a prohibited weapon (knife).
The male driver, Kevin LARMOUR (26) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on September 6, 2016.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS
(South Dundas) – On July 18, 2016 at approximately 11:04am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that that several altercations had taken place between a male and his girlfriend resulting in assaults, mischiefs and threats over the past months involving the female.
A 19-year-old male from South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault-spousal (5 counts)
– Assault with a Weapon
– Mischief-Domestic (2 counts)
– Uttering Threats
– Fail to Comply with Sentence
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 9, 2016. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
(South Dundas) – On July 22, 2016 at approximately 12:12am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Riverside Drive, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that that an altercation between a male and his spouse resulted in damage caused within the home. Further information revealed other similar incident had occurred in previous months.
A 42-year-old male from South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief-Domestic (3 counts)

FAMILY DISPUTE
(North Glengarry) – On July 24, 2016 at approximately 10:26pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a family dispute at a residence on Dalkeith Road, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that a male had threatened and assaulted family members, caused damage within the home and stole property.
An 18-year-old male was arrested and is charged with;
– Utter Threats
– Assault
– Mischief Under $5000
– Theft Under $5000
– Fail to Comply with Sentence (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.
BREAK-IN
(North Dundas) – On July 24, 2016 between 7-9:30am, a camper trailer was entered while parked at a property on Forward Road, North Dundas Township. Inside an IPhone 6S in a black case and assorted clothing items were taken.
An investigation continues.
MISCHIEF
(North Stormont) – On July 24, 2016 at approximately 2:00am, a suspected “molatov cocktail” device was thrown at a vehicle while parked at a residence on Main Street in the Village of Finch, North Stormont Township. No damage or injuries resulted.

EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(Stormont, Dundas) – Over the past weekend, SD&G OPP officers conducting speed measuring enforcement in Stormont and Dundas Counties intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. In all stops, the vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– July 23, 2016 – 6:26pm (County Road 31, North Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 134km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (21) from Clarence-Rockland, Ontario charged accordingly.
– July 24, 2016 – 2:43am (North Lunenburg Road-South Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 133km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (23) from Newington, Ontario charged accordingly.
