(LAKESHORE, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members from Lakeshore are investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of First Street and Notre Dame Street in the Town of Belle River today at approximately 12:00 p.m.
A white Ford operated by a 21 year old female was turning westbound from Belle River Road onto Notre Dame Street when her vehicle struck an adult and two children standing together near the northwest corner of the intersection.
All three pedestrians were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the driver of the Taurus was treated and released at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
