Peterborough County OPP members continue to be busy on the Highways with impaired drivers this past weekend.
(Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist a motorist who had driven into a ditch on Fire Route 214 Friday evening shortly before 5:30pm.
Officers investigated the driver after she was found to have been drinking. Krista SWAIN (age 44) of Barrie, ON was arrested and charged with:
Having care and control of a vehicle while impaired
Having care and control of a vehicle with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario September 01, 2016.
(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Young’s Point Road Friday evening shortly before 9:00pm.
Officers stopped the suspect’s vehicle and found the male driver to have been drinking. Leonard MUSKRATT (age 48) of Curve Lake, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, ON September 22, 2016.
(North Kawartha Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a truck on Burleigh Street in Burleigh Falls Saturday morning shortly before 4:00am.
Investigating officers found the driver to have been drinking. Dale GODFREY (age 46) of Peterborough, ON was arrested and charged with:
Impaired Driving
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario September 22, 2016.
