Dawn ROBERTS – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – On Sunday, September 4, 2016 an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a single motor vehicle in the ditch on Cataract Road, between Albert St. and William St. The officer attended the scene and observed a white Honda Civic in the ditch and upon speaking to the driver of that vehicle, immediately detected an odour of alcohol on her breath.

Upon investigation, the officer determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by the consumption of alcohol and arrested the operator of the Honda accordingly.

As a result, Dawn ROBERTS, 53, of Caledon was charged with the following offence:

Adult Driving with More than 80 mgs.

The 90 day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle as impounded for 7 days.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on September 22, 2016.
