(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On September 14, 2016 at approximately 1:53 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), together with Bruce County Emergency Services (EMS) and Bruce Peninsula Fire Department, responded to a report of an injured woman after she fell down a 30 foot crevice on top of Skinner’s Bluff, off of Colpoy’s Range Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The victim, a 34-year old woman from Owen Sound, was rescued and treated at the scene. She was transported to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
The victim and a male companion had been drinking alcohol prior to the mishap.
Police arrested and charged a 34-year old Steven Thomas BALL of Georgian Bluffs with breach of probation. He had a bail hearing on September 14th. His next court appearance is scheduled for October 13, 2016 in Owen Sound.
