(CAMLACHIE, ON) – On October 6, 2016 at approximately 11:45 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the area of Egremont Road in Camlachie Ontario to investigate a motor vehicle collision.
Investigation revealed that a Dodge Caravan had been travelling on Egremont Road when it left the roadway, lost control and crossed into the path of an oncoming Honda Accord. The passengers of the Honda Accord suffered minor injuries. Upon OPP arrival it was discovered that the driver of the Caravan had previously consumed an alcoholic beverage.
As a result, the driver of the Caravan, a 19 year old male from Plympton- Wyoming was arrested and charged with allegedly operating a motor vehicle while impaired and have over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. The male is to appear in Court on the 31 October 2016.
