(TECUMSEH, ON) – On October 7, 2016 at approximately 11:15 p.m. a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) was conducting stationary radar enforcement on the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near the 9 kilometer marker in the Municipality of Tecumseh, Ontario.
The officer had occasion to stop a black Dodge Pickup truck that was travelling in excess of 150 km/h in the posted 100 km/h zone.
Trevor BONDY, age 20 of Lasalle, Ontario has been charged with Stunt Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. His driver’s licence has been seized and suspended for 7 days and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
BONDY will appear in a Windsor Court on November 14, 2016 to answer to the charge
