More Stunt Drivers Charged

(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle at 142Km/h in the 80km/h zone on Highway 7 shortly before 9:00pm Saturday night.

Edison PERAJ (age 28) of Toronto, ON was charged with:

Stunt driving in relation to excessive speed.

Possession of a Schedule I controlled substance (cocaine)

Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (marihuana)

Drive vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused’s licence was suspended for seven days and his 2004 BMW X5 was impounded.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on December 01, 2016.

(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Highway Safety Division (HSD) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle at 160Km/h in the 100km/h zone on Highway 115 shortly after 1:00pm Sunday afternoon.

Julie May Joan WILSON (age 36) of Mississauga, ON was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. Her driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and her 2005 Pontiac G6 was impounded.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on December 12, 2016.

Xize YE (age 19) of Toronto, ON was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. His driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and his 2006 Audi A6 was impounded.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on December 12, 2016.
