(ANGUS, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crimes Unit and the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit have arrested and charged an Angus man following an internet investigation.
On October 6, 2016 the Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, (OPP) assisted by members the Nottawasaga OPP and the Technological Crime executed a search warrant at an Angus residence. As a result of this investigation, a laptop computer was seized and is pending forensic analysis.
Danny MARTIN, age 18-years, of Angus Ontario is charged with
Luring a child, contrary to section 172.1 (1) (c) of the Criminal Code.
Sending sexually explicit material to a child, contrary to section 171.1 (1) (c) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was released and he is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford, Ontario on November 3, 2016.
The investigation is continuing.
