(Bancroft, ON) – In the early morning on December 01, 2016 officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a complaint of an altercation that just took place on Hastings Street North in the Town of Bancroft.
Investigation revealed that a male assaulted another male with a weapon. There were no injuries as a result of the assault.
Christopher RAMSAY, 39 years from North Kawartha Township has been charged with:
Assault with a weapon
Uttering threats – Cause death or bodily harm.
The accused was held for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville Ontario on December 02, 2016.
