(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 25, 2015 at approximately 11:52 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2014 Ford for a Highway Traffic Act violation on Wellington Road 29 at Arkell Road in Puslinch Township. Police immediately detected the odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath and a Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
62-year-old Zlatko VIDMAR of Burlington has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 21, 2015 to answer to his charge.
